Bulls-Cavaliers Season and Playoff Series Stats

Over at Synergy Sports, they’ve posted a comprehensive and thoroughly fascinating statistical breakdown of the Bulls-Cavaliers series (not to mention all the other playoff series). They also provide a side-by-side comparison of the regular season stats.

Go check it out. Seriously. Right now.

I’ll probably write more about this after I’ve had a chance to sift through the numbers. Kudos to the people at Synergy Sports. This is good stuff.

    OK. Don’t worry, I have a plan:

Based on my statistical analysisof the situation, if the Bulls can limit LeBron to “All Other Plays”, we stand a good chance of stealing the series.

Also Vinny must adjust the offense so that every play is a Pick & Roll with DRose being the Roll-man. Guaranteed two points! Statistically this gives the Bulls the best possible chance to score. Every play, Vinny, every play! D’YA HEAR ME, VINNY??? Ok, now I am going to call my bookie…

I signed up for mysynergysports.com yesterday. Honestly, I really think this is going to change the way I watch games. I haven’t decided if that’s a positive or a negative thing.

in a pick and roll the person that rolls is the person that sets the pick…how can rose be the roll man if the ball is in his hands and he is not setting a pick

Reef… Did ya check the link to synergy sports? I understant the concept, however the stats showed a perfect 2 pt average when this play was run (which was 0.1% of the time).

Geez, it kind of ruins the joke when you have to explain the punch line…
