Free Agent Watch: The Dwyane Wade thing is looking even less likely

Here’s a rather unhappy update to Friday’s post: Dwyane Wade has explicitly stated he wants to stay in Miami.

Said Wade: “Chicago is my home city, and I love Chicago. But my heart is here in Miami. All the cards are in Miami, and it’s their game to lose, more than anything. I appreciate that organizations want me to be a part of them, but right now Miami is in the driver’s seat.”

There’s no way of knowing how strongly the Bulls were targeting Wade. But if D-Wade was management’s Plan A, I sure hope they have a solid Plan B. And a Plan C, D and E for that matter.

Hasn’t Bosh been plan A the whole time? I don’t see how he couldn’t be.

i’m jealous of portland, camby and andre miller are really good players who they got for nobody. plus aldridge and roy were drafted after tyrus. even with roy hurt, portland can go far.

I would say Wade or LeBron has been plan A the whole time given their overall experience in the playoffs, and with end game decisions. Bosh is an amazing talent, yet he has only shown that with a team that has not been winning much. Either would be a great addition to the team.

any all star will benfit the bulls with there current roster. Joe Johnson, D wade, Bosh, or any big SG that can shoot the 3 and play some d-fence.

Might I remind you that Dwayne Wade is from Chicagoland. If there ever was any consideration of going to Chicago I think it is still there. These comments don’t say that much. The only thing that would keep D Wade away from Chicago is not being alpha dog because of Rose.

Joe Johnson should be our #1 guy. Bosh doesn’t wanna come to Chicago and not be the alpha dog, and sorry Chrissy pants, but this city belongs to Rose. A back court duo of JJ and DRose would be a serious force defensively and offensively. JJ’s shooting prowess would open up the lanes for Deng and Rose. Noah is going to continue to get stronger, and Gibson is going to bulk up this offseason. They can be a fearsome defensive group with JJ added to the mix.

We need to sign a Big, I’d take boozer over bosh for defensive reasons but it doesn’t matter as long as we get our high impact big man. But we really need to sign Anthony Morrow from golden state, He is a free agent, and fills the hole a shooting guard for the bulls and Hes only 21, check out his highlights from last year.

Joe Johnson sounds lke a good fit, Chris Bosh not so much. I dont think Bosh is all that great. With talent, i dont think it’d be that hard to be a “All-Star” in Toronto. I think the Bulls should look into getting rid of Deng….he’s not that solid. Joakim has intensity. Rose has talent, Hinrich has heart and Taj is a Badass and getting better…

I say David Lee is a gud fix with NOAH, DENG & ROSE and maybe the bulls should also pick up joe Johnson 4 a 2 year contract b-cuz of his age. But, I think the bulls should focus on getting Rudy Gay or Anthony Morrow as our SG. Then the bulls r set 2 make a big run next year!

I also agree with DJ, If u think about it people, if the Bulls get Chris Bosh they will lose all their free agent money by signing him only n if the Bulls sign David Lee then they still have enough money 2 get 1 more semi-star like Anthony Morrow.

    2010-2011 Roster:
    PG: D. Rose
    SG: Anthony Morrow
    SF: L. Deng
    PF: David Lee
    C: J. Noah
    Bench:
    K. Hinrich
    B. Miller (to a 1 year contract)
    Taj Gibson
    James Johnson
Flip Murray (to another 1 year contract)
and other free agent average players

He says that now. But after the Celtics sweep them out the playoffs, his brain will start to operate correctly. Him and Bosh, six more rings baby!!! Or Lebron and Bosh!!! Us true bull’s fans deserve this. Its been hard watching the bulls during the playoffs since the absents of MJ :(
