Chicago needs a frontcourt scorer. Somebody who can rebound, post up, consistently hit midrange jumpers and run the pick and roll with Derrick Rose. Chris Bosh would fit that bill quite nicely. The question is: Do the Bulls have a realistic chance to sign him this summer?
It sure looks like it.
Unlike Dwyane Wade — who has repeatedly stated he wants to stay in Miami — Bosh seems pretty up-in-the-air about his future. So much so that he’s asking his followers on Twitter what he should do.
No, I’m not kidding.

On Friday, Bosh tweeted: “Been wanting to ask. Where should I go next season and why?” Then, 38 minutes later, he tweeted: “Ok… Let me rephrase the question. Should I stay or should I go?”
I’d be happy to answer those questions…although I might be a bit biased.
Naturally, the Bulls will be only one of the teams chasing after Bosh this summer, either as a free agent signing or through a sign and trade. Let’s hope Chicago management is putting a nice pitch together. A scoring big man who can create his own shots would go a long way toward improving an offense that finished the season ranked 27th in Offensive Rating.

There are just so many questions. For the bulls to become true contenders, the team needs so much (and from this morning’s rumors, the Bulls’ needs start with a scapegoat coach.)

Totally agree Matt. Add Bosh as a great post up player who also has a good mid range jumper would be ideal. I think the Bulls could, and should go after a player who can knock down long range jumpers, (Korver, Mo Williams?,). This would, I should think, make the Bulls a complete team for the next few seasons. There is certainly room for the current players to improve (for some, A LOT of room) and with their development, adding one or two key pieces would make them a contender instantly. I think this would be, as a lot of people suggest, highly unlikely, but hiring Phil Jackson and bring him back to a place where he started as head coach, and having him potentially finish his coaching career here would be like a fairy tale! Anyway, whatever happens this summer should be quite interesting, as long as the front office doesn’t screw things up once again!
Sounds good! Bosh seems like the only FA that is clear that he is willing/ready to leave. Toronto is going nowhere, and don’t have much cap room to improve by much.
Why not Michael Beasley? His trade value his low and his potential is high. Miami needs an upgrade at point guard. Michael Beasley is already averaging 15ppg/7rpg in only 29mpg. I think he could flourish playing alongside Noah and Rose.
