Draft Day: LiveBlog-O-Rama-Rama

First things first. Shaq is officially off the board, and so is Scoop Jackson’s master plan for a Bulls roster featuring Derrick Rose, Tracy McGrady or Ben Gordon, John Salmons, Tyrus Thomas, Shaquille O’Neal; with a bench of Kirk Hinrich, Joakim Noah, DeJuan Blair, Wayne Ellington, Brad Miller, Anthony Roberson and DeMarcus Nelson. Oh well.

The TrueHoop Network blogs — led by Hardwood Paroxysm — will be liveblogging the event. As HP’s Matt Moore put it: “Join us on Draft Day, starting at 5PM EST for a liveblog event that will be so phenomenal, you’ll have to twitter about how awesome it was just reading about it on Facebook from a post someone made when they found it on Digg. Ya Digg?”

You can expect many members of the TrueHoop Network — myself included — and some very special guests to show up and discuss the successes and failures of the draft. There will be analysis, snark and much crying to the heavens. Should be a good time…so keep an eye on this post.

I’m glad you’re participating in that, but did they have to get HP to moderate this thing? I’ll need to medicate to stand the inappropriate hyperbole.

Why are the ESPN play by play guys so disrespectful to Steve Nash? When they were talking about the stars that Shaq has previously played with, they totally ignored Nash until one of them brought him up, but when he did he was not sincere. Steve Nash is the reason I became an NBA fan, and I don’t like it when they don’t give him the respect he deserves.

Another thing. The Suns are crazy to trade Stoudemire. If you dig a hole and it starts falling in on you, quit digging. They just go from one bad trade to the next to the next. You think they would have learned something when they traded Marion.

the bulls should get ron artest then they will be able to trade luol deng and tim thomas for someone and still have good small forwards and since it seems that gordan might not come back bump salmons to shooting guard and artest starts at small forward have tyrus thomas play power forward have brad miller start at center and hav D ROSE start at the point that a great for great use
