The new 2011-12 Bulls schedule

According to ESPNChicago’s Nick Friedell, Joakim Noah is feeling 100 percent healthy after battling thumb and ankle injuries last season. He’ll need to be. The Bulls updated schedule for the abbreviated 2011-12 season has been released. And it’s challenging. In fact, early on, it’s downright brutal. The schedule opens with a four-game road trip that […]

The preseason (that won’t happen) schedule has been released

Johnson of the Chicago Tribune writes: “The Bulls are scheduled to open [the preseason] against the Michael Jordan-owned Charlotte Bobcats on Oct. 10 at the United Center. Other home games are Oct. 14 against the Timberwolves, Oct. 21 against the Pacers and Oct. 27 against Scott Skiles and the Bucks. Analyzing the Bulls’ (presumed) 2011-12 schedule

The NBA has a schedule. And a lockout. Which may mean the schedule will be more effective as packing material or lining for bird cages across the country. Release the schedules…

The 2011-12 Bulls schedule has been released under the (possibly foolishly) optimistic belief that there will be a 2011-12 NBA season. 2009-10 back-to-back game results

During last week’s post about Chicago’s scheduleapocalypse, I mentioned that the Bulls play a league-high 23 sets of back-to-back games…just like last season. Here’s how the Bulls did in the second game of back-to-backs last season: Overall record in back-to-backs: 10-13 Home record: 4-3 Road record: 6-10 Record versus playoff teams: 3-7 Record versus non-playoff teams: 7-6 Double-digit […]

The Bulls’ 2010-11 Schedulapocalypse

The 2010-11 schedule has been released. It’s a doozy. As usual. The Bulls must once again — and again and again and yet again — contend with their infamous November “circus trip” and a schedule loaded with back-to-back games. As K.C. Johnson of the Chicago Tribune pointed out: “The Bulls are tied with the Bucks […]

Unfavorable schedules

Derrick Rose “probably” won’t play tonight against the Grizzlies in Memphis — and several other players missed practice yesterday – which means the Bulls will “probably” lose their eighth game in row. Barring a minor miracle. Actually, make that a major miracle. I decided to take a closer look at the Bulls schedule versus the schedules […]
