Talk about days you’d rather forget.
First Derrick Rose was fined $25,000 for criticizing officials after Monday’s win over the Knicks and then he was involved in a minor car accident.
The good news is that Derrick is okay…even if his wallet is not.
Illinois State police say Rose was headed south on the Kennedy Expressway at Ogden Avenue late Tuesday afternoon when his 2011 Bentley was struck from behind by a 2002 Saturn.
The Bulls say Rose was not injured. Rose’s brother, Reggie, told ESPNChicago.com’s Nick Friedell that the reigning league MVP was “fine. Nothing major.”
Police cited the driver of the Saturn, Charles Tratwein, for failing to reduce speed to avoid a crash.
Let’s hope Rose isn’t too shaken up to take down the Heat tonight.
