Quick Reaction: Bulls 118, Knicks 111

MVP (Most Valuable Player):
Because MVP is an all-around achievement, it has to go to Jimmy Butler. The second year man had 22 points, 14 rebounds, two assists, three steals and three blocks. Nate Robinson (35 points) was a close second, hitting what seemed like seven or eight huge shots.

LVP (Least Valuable Player):
Carlos Boozer may have grabbed 15 rebounds, but he stills gets LVP. Even with the size advantage, Boozer didn’t do anything on offense, finishing 3-11 from the field. He also got torched by Chris Copeland on the other end, adding insult to ineffectiveness. The fact that Boozer didn’t take advantage of the size differential he had the entire night is disappointing.

Defining Moment:
With the Bulls trailing 79-64 with just over four minutes remaining in the third quarter, Jimmy Butler got back-to-back breakaway dunks off of steals. Those dunks sparked a 19-3 run, which eventually ended with the Bulls up 85-82 early in the fourth.

X factor:
Three point shooting. New York shot 7-13 from beyond the arc in the first half (53.8 percent). They went just 3-13 in the second half (34.8 percent), including 1-7 in the fourth.  They then went 0-4 in overtime. It’s no secret that the Bulls comeback coincided with the declining three point percentage of the Knicks.

That Was … another streak down:
Just over two weeks after the Bulls ended Miami’s 27-game win streak, the Bulls stopped another one at home. Chicago snapped the Knicks’ 13-game run and handed New York its first loss since March 17.
The Bulls play the Raptors tomorrow night. Kirk Hinirch and Jimmy Butler both played more than 50 minutes, while Carlos Boozer played 46 minutes. Chicago lost to Toronto 101-98 on Monday.

I cannot believe how many minutes Butler is playing now. To start the season I thought Butler needed to get more minutes as the Bulls had to see what they had in Butler, now he’s played 48 minutes and 50 minutes in consecutive games, that’s crazy. I’ve really been impressed with his play this year, though. Rose, Butler, Deng, Boozer, Noah is a nice starting five going into next year, with Gibson the first big off the bench, and Hinrich probably as the first guard. It’ll be an intereting off-season after these playoffs as while that is a solid playoff team, that isn’t a team competing for championship without the role players.

Howdy just wanted to give you a quick heads up. The words in your content seem to be running off
the screen in Opera. I’m not sure if this is a formatting
issue or something to do with internet browser
compatibility but I figured I’d post to let you know.
The style and design look great though! Hope you get the issue solved soon. Cheers
