Derrick Rose’s Ankle: Apparently okay…

K.C. Johnson of the Chicago Tribune writes: “Derrick Rose participated in the entire Chicago Bulls’ practice Tuesday and coach Tom Thibodeau said Rose had no lingering effects from the left ankle he rolled in the waning seconds of Monday’s loss to the Atlanta Hawks.”

Said Thibs: “He came in and didn’t have any swelling. He said he was fine and went through everything. So that was encouraging.”

What would be even more encouraging would be seeing Rose drive and earn a couple free throws.

What is the significance of this? Would they say otherwise? I’m terribly apprehensive right now.

They do tell us if somebody has missed practice, like Boozer did all week leading up to yesterday. This is encouraging though.

I question the significance of this too Rose always says hes alright and plays in practice. You can never tell if hes really hurt. I can tell hes ok when hes not chucking up threes early in the shot clock.
