I said as much before the game. The word “great” gets thrown around way too much, but Wade truly is a great player. […]

Looks like Pookie ended up with 48 (15-21 from the field, 13-18 from the line, and 5-6 from threeland); plus, 6 boards, 12 assists, 4 steals and 3 blocks… in 49 minutes.

Um… yeah.

Is he the best player in the league? I mean, really, I know this blog’s more about Pooh than Pook; but, lately, it seems like Wade’s doing more with less [than, for example, Kobe and Lebron], AND not being a jerk about it [like, for example, Kobe and Lebron].

In other news, The Hinrich Maneuver had the best +/- score on your team with +13. How does that compare? Well, Tyrus Thomas had your team’s 2nd best +/- with +4. And, after D-Wade’s +20, the best Heater was Moon’s +13. So, Kirk was – according to “advanced stats” – the second best player out there tonight (despite only playing 19 minutes).

The guy can’t score at all. If the Heat abandon their regular offense to run post-ups for Diawara, fantastic. And then, even if Diawara gets a couple of buckets on postups, you can double him because he won’t be used to passing out of the double team.

But that won’t be necessary because all he’s going to do is stand in the corner and wait for an open 3.
