It’s not like Jeremy Lin. Lin has the potential to be a franchise player. Can you say the same for Omer Asik? probably not. he’d probably be a solid starter on any NBA team, but you look at his skills, especially on the offensive end, you’re looking at a guy with a relatively low ceiling. he’s certainly not an All Star, let alone a player worth 14.9 million in three years time.
