I’m really disappointed the Bulls didn’t try to get David Lee. He was a RFA and the Knicks dragged their feet all summer before signing him. The Bulls could have at least made an offer and forced the Knicks’ hand. Lee was looking for $10 mil, multi-year deal. The Bulls should have made an offer of $8 to $9 mil – 5 year. Who knows, maybe Lee might have been pissed enough at the Knicks to sign and force the Knicks to either give him up or do a sign and trade.

I would definitely prefer David Lee over Boozer even though Boozer has been an all-star. Tyrus, I think is a solid backup but will never be more. Noah will be a solid starter at center, but we really need a scoring PF. Miller, can fill that role this season.

Who is a good PF the Bulls to chase other than Bosch?

LEE for Hinrich! You make that deal and don’t look back. With Gordon gone – its officially Derrick ROSE’s team. Especially since he TOOK the Captain’s job without even trying hard. Both of our “captains” have been stealing ever since they signed those contracts. Kirk is selling that house to get a bigger one since he has the bankroll now. The Bulls trade Kirk Hinrich and I will turn strait to CNN because surely hell would have frozen over. They like Kirk more than MJ.

Trading Tyrus and Jerome for David Lee would be ideal. Only problem is that knicks coveted a PG in the draft and since they didn’t get one i see captain kirk being part of any deal for Lee. On paper it sounds good but Lee isn’t a traditional low-post scorer. his scoring avg skyrocketd last year b/c he got a lot of garbage and transition dunks in d’antoni’s system. not sure he can create his own offense. that being said he is an upgrade from tyrus.

Kirk’s Defense is his best attribute because he stinks at everything else. He is low percentage shooter who dribbles too much. Remember in a playoff game against Boston he dribbled between his legs and it bounced out of bounds? He always dribble between his leg when no one is there for no reason. This is not And1 and his showboating is silly. Not only that he dribbles and kills time off the shot clock so the final shooter only has a few seconds to make his play. The most over-rated over-payed Bull in history.

i dont know where you get your information tht rose is getting better at defensive..the play game he played that mattered…that was the playoffs, last i checked his D was close to ben gordon status.

If Lee is coming to the Bulls I’d much rather trade Jerome James and Tyrus Thomas. James for the filler and Tyrus to avoid the potential log-jam we would’ve had at the power forward position.

I hope that rumor is true, which most likely will not happen. The bulls could use David Lee help for at least this season only and trade Ty Thomas with sum small cash. Then they should let go of Lee and sign a big name like Chris Bosh as a free-agent for next year. Not that I don’t like Tyrus game, is just that i don’t see him as a big inside scorer and a big rebounder like David Lee is. He is more of a defensive player only and the Bulls have a lot of defensive players already like: Hinrich, Salmon, Hunter, Johnson, Gibson, Noah, Deng and Rose is starting to get better at it. So the Bulls won’t miss Tyrus that much.

marc stien of espn, said a source close to the knicks david lee, has been quoted on saying the bulls will likely be lee’s next home, which is a heck of alot better then Carlos LOOZER, i like David lee to the bulls, but the deal cannot include Capt Kirk
