I never said the Bulls suck or anything like that, I really only criticized management for putting us in this position in the first place. So when I realized the Bulls still had a chance, why not cheer for them? Staring at a 10 game losing streak in the face with a team filled with hobbled players, I’m guessing most people wouldn’t put their money on the Bulls, but apparently they’ve picked it up, so you’re right and a better fan than me blah blah blah, well done sir, I admit I was wrong so quit being an A-hole and let’s move on and hope the Bulls win tonight.

It was to show that you hop on and off of the bandwagon like many other posters here – Tons of comments when Bulls are winning… Nada when losing. At least complain about management instead of the team you gave up on in March.

You wanna buy into the media frenzy, go ahead, but he isn’t going anywhere. I’m not even going off the fact that he’s changing his number, or his recent comment about staying with Cleavland until he wins a chip. Here are two simple facts why he is staying.

1. He is a team player that only cares about winning. He will achieve numerous personal accolades, and is already a HOF shoe in. If he wins, let’s say 5 chips in total, his legacy is cemented, and it doesn’t matter if he does it in New York, Chicago or Cleavland. People won’t look at his accomplishment and say ‘well sure he won a lot of championships but he would be considered much better if he did it with team x’. No that’s just stupid, and these sportswriters are just simply doing what they do best, speculate to get attention.

2. Lebron is larger than life. He knows this, and he is using it to his advantage. Look at what happened this year alone. They got Shaq and Jamison. Lebron is basically telling Ferry ‘give me talent or I’m bouncing’. I’m also convinced that he just wants to bask in the attention that other teams will show him. Every single team in the L will reach out to him one way or another, regardless of their cap situation. He will love it.

Finally, your statistical projections for next year are interesting to say the least. But you forgot to add fieldgoal, freethrow and 3pt%, plus minus and PER. I mean why not go for broke. Somewhere John Hollinger is cackling.

And I’ve already said I spoke to soon. But your point would have been better if you waited until the Bulls actually made the playoffs, because right now it’s still an uphill battle. And sorry don’t know what a Blogburger is, but I’m sure it’s terribly hurtful.

Almost every team gets a MLE. Now the Bulls have over $15 mill in cap space, once they sign their max FA, their MLE is void. They’re left with the rest of their cap space (which about $3 goes to rookies pending on where they draft), then Bird Rule FA on their team and then min salaries.

Didn’t you say that this season is over a month ago – just after the 10 game losing streak. Here’s a refresher – “I’m at peace now with the Bulls not making the playoffs, you guys should resolve yourselves too, otherwise you’ll end up be disappointed. And who says I can’t stick around for the rest of the season and bash on the management for their mistakes? There’s still joy in that isn’t there?” HAHA! Too funny.

I don’t like to be the A-hole, but you just got a ‘BLOGburger.’

A team is allowed to sign one player to a contract equal to the average NBA salary, even if the team is over the salary cap already, or if the signing would put them over the cap. This is known as the Mid-level exception (MLE). The MLE may be used on an individual free agent or split among multiple free agents, and is available to any team that exceeds the salary cap at the beginning of the offseason. The Mid-Level Exception for the 2008-09 NBA season was $5.585 million.[2] The MLE is $5.854 million for the 2009-10 NBA regular season.

No disrespect to Bosh/Boozer/Amare/lee….none of those bigs play defense well. I’d rather give Taj an opportunity playing 35mpg and see what he can do. He’s an excellent defender and in his last 5 games 15ppg, 13rpg, 2bpg in 38mpg.
