It’s the defense. They can’t be this bad on offense indefinitely. Rose will get it figured out, and guys other than Carlos will start chipping in. But on the defensive end, the Bulls let the Sixers play an up-tempo sloppy game, and a solid 10-20 point lead very quickly evaporated (just as it did against the Knicks).

Thibs will fix this stuff. It’s the lack of defensive discipline and not playing 48 minutes that are killing us. Not just Derrick being rusty and awful on offense.

Counting out these bulls is a big mistake.

The offensive problem continues though. I think it has something to do with thibs not spreading his minutes. Teague is more of a point guard than rose but rose is a much better player overall.

that and the front office has yet to give thibs some real talent to work with.

Scott, the shooting is a huge issue, but scarier to me is that the Bulls have been giving up a ton of open looks so far this season on defense. Rotations have been very poor. Can’t figure it out.

Bulls shooting 23% from the 3pt line with Noah and Rose trying to physically get up to game speed while getting used to a new offense.

Only the shooting bothers me since it was a problem last season. The Bulls defense shouldn’t be giving up 100+ points to the Sixers though (even though we know the Sixers will come crashing down soon).

The defense needs to be solid against the Pacers. Pretty big game.
