Changes Coming to Bulls by the Horns

construction zone

To all of our loyal readers,

We’d like to quickly apologize for the lack of posts over the past several weeks. We realize that many of you turn to Bulls by the Horns to read up on the latest Chicago Bulls related news and participate in healthy discussions about the team and we haven’t been delivering on our end. The reason for the lack of posts from us stems from a couple of significant changes occurring behind the scenes.

Recently the ESPN TrueHoop Network has begun the process of moving away from the 30-team model they’ve employed for the past several years and, as a result, the TrueHoop Network is scaling back. Unfortunately Bulls by the Horns was among the sites dropped for a variety of reasons. To add to the changes Matt McHale, our current show-runner, is stepping down due to personal reasons and I, Avi Saini, will be taking over the site. We’re trying to work as quickly as we can to get through this transition.

Aside from this short time period, ultimately none of these changes will affect you. We here at Bulls by the Horns will continue to deliver the most up to date Chicago Bulls related news, harbor discussion, and host a fun community for all of you to participate in. We are currently taking steps towards fulfilling this goal by redesigning the site layout and assembling a group of writers who we believe will produce as good, if not better, content. We expect the vast majority of these changes to be done prior to opening night of the NBA season.

Again, apologies for the lack of posts over the past few weeks and any inconvenience(s) this may have caused you. We ask that you bear with us just a little while more so we can improve for you all.

Thank you for understanding.

Good luck with everything Avi. As someone living overseas it has being a great site to keep in touch with everything about the Bulls and hope you can keep it up.

Sooooo sick of ESPN. They do this kind of thing weekly. If it doesn’t involve a Boston or New York team, they don’t care.

Second time ESPN has “scaled back” and taken away one of my blogs I follow.

Sad to see McHale go, but keep up the good work Avi.

If you need any help in the writing department just let me know.

Good luck and thanks for all the good times, Matt. I always enjoyed your perspective and writing, and that has kept me coming back daily throughout this dry spell. I wish you the best.

Avi, I look forward to the update.
