It would heal in it’s own time. If you compare career stats for Deng and Pippen they are very comparable: (D/P)

APG 2.3/5.2, SPG 1.0/2.0, BPG .6/.8, FG% .465/.473, 3P% .337/.326, FT% .765/.704.
So Slap Dog Hoops you may want to rethink you statement. Deng is worth every penny the Bulls pay him, ask Thibs.

Now he will be just as inefficient, or even worse in terms of his offensive productivity and the that’s the opposite of what the Bulls need. Overall Deng has been a disappointment since being drafted. Many projected him to be the next Scottie Pippen, but he is far from living up to that.
