steve — I hear you. He won’t get better unless he’s given the chance…yet he has one of the worst defensive ratings on the team, and the worst of his career. I have a strange feeling like, right now, scoring is his main concern since he’s playing for his NBA life (i.e., his next contract). But he has been working his butt off.

i hear you. i just think that it’s just as dangerous to do that to ben’s (monumentous, but still) confidence. especially concerning his defense.

i know it’s common to harp on vinny, but pulling ben after he hit the 4-point play for the last 16 seconds disappointed me. he basically sealed the game for us, let him finish (i know i know, kirk is a better defender). still.

Dunc — Apparently it wasn’t anything more serious than a hard hit to the face. The way he was, ahem, bawling his eyes out, I figured he had a nose broken at the very least.

Mark — I added that quote, just for you. And yes, Ty needs to add that move yesterday. If he can develop it, he’ll score a LOT of points off of it. As for Lu…clearly I stat-cursed him when I declared he was “back” after the Rockets game.

Great game. Got there 3 minutes into the game and never left my seat until it was over.

I’m sorry to disagree, but the funniest quote of the night was when Johnny Red was asking his son for the piece of paper with his speech on it and his son wasn’t giving it to him. When he finally did, Johnny quipped, “The kid never did listen.”

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, I like TT but he really needs to learn a jumpstop…especially on those sweeping drives across the lane.

Where’s Lu been lately?
