Thanks for the vid, I am even more pumped…

A product of the Utah offense I think. And watching the highlights clips, more than half of those were assists from D-Will, one of the best passing PG’s in the game right now only behind maybe Nash and Paul. I don’t think Boozer is going to be nearly as good in this offence, D-Will padded his stats and Rose doesn’t necessarily command as much attention (due to lack of shooters aside from KK and Rose’s unsteady jumper). And he is not a shot-blocker, he’s a 6’8 guy who plays bad D.

Don’t see them getting anywhere in the playoffs this seaosn, but then again, the East is so weak they can still probably nab the 7th or 8th seed alongside the Pacers or something. First round bait.

Better than the Cavs though! Won’t make the playoffs for the next ten years…
Makes you really wish Lebron was here, eh?

1) From this video, it appears that he only blocked one shot the whole season.

2) Where’s the foul on Taj (2:50m mark)?? There’s no contact at all!

3) I love this acquisition! Go Bulls!

Yep, the Bulls had JR for 1 day and immediately traded him for Howard Eisley, who they then immediately cut. b/c he wasn’t a Skiles guy. Hooray for that.

Also if you run a set with a pick/roll and you score as often as Utah did….why would you be posting up. It is not that he can’t do it, it was a case of the Jazz having a efficient pick/roll game.

Sven needs to not look at his possessions overall, but look at his success rate on plays when he does post up.

Boozer for 80mil is a hands down better deal than Bosh for 110+mil. And sure, Korver isn’t Wade, but the Bulls will hopefully sign Reddick, Brad Miller and another worthy body for the money that’s left.

Kidding.

I echo most comments here, Boozer is probably one of the most skilled big men in the NBA in regards to floor vision, hands, finishing at the rim and a sweet high arcing J (perhaps not the most athletic, but good enough). He benefited from D-Will, but I hope he passes some advice to Rose on how Williams operates the O, and especially the PnR. Praying for health out of him as well.

If Rose makes “The Leap” and we get healthy bodies and strong performances from the rest of the team this squad is as good as anyone else in the East, including “the talents on South Beach”.

PS. LeBron is a jag.

When was the last time we had that from our big men(elton brand)…he did this in Utah without a defensive center to help him on the defensive end. He’s 265lbs and will not get pushed around by anyone and he’s takes it strong to the basket.

The best part is he will not just help the bulls but he will enable Drose Noah and Deng more time to be open aslo he can demand a double team the league is on Notice they do have our bulls on the radar and know that they are a fomritable team this year even mor so than the last season its on here In Chi Town. Get your popcorn Ready the show is gonna be grrrreat . Peace

He may not be a typical low post player but when he gets the ball close to the basket it usually goes in. You should not that as a Jazz fan.
