If they trade him they need to receive a player of his caliper but the ones I am hearing are not. So if there willing to trade him for a player that hasn't proven himself then why would you trade a player from your own team that you feel is not reaching potential. Why trade someone who is an A for a C-. I would love to have a big man inside but not at the cost of loosing one of our key players. We are young and truely unproven (except the playoff series with Boston) but with a few players like Thomas stepping up we could be a playoff team again this year. Without May the Illini win thier first championship. He has had injuries and wieght problems in the NBA, and is probably undersized, but when healthy he has shown some promise.
