I never knew that the Bulls offered Curry 400k/year for 50 years if he didn’t pass that test. That’s a lot of money on the table- he must have known damn-sure he was going to fail it.

Hindsight is 20-20, though. I never thought Mike Redd would amount to much in the NBA because his jumper was broke-ass in college, and he wasn’t QUITE athletic enough to slash his way to being an all-star in the NBA (which is why he went midway through the 2nd round of the draft). Then he goes and works hard and turns into one of the better snipers in the league and fills Ray Allen’s shoes quite well. Whodathunkit?

You still haven’t told us who YOU would like for the Bulls to draft, Mr. McHale.

We also got Tyrus Thomas and Joakim Noah for Curry, who is not even playing anymore. (THANKS NEW YORK!)

we could have kept lamarcus aldridge instead of Tyrus’ potential, but that is still up in the air. and Tyrus can still be a potential piece in trading for a top power forward.

I love the Bulls draft misery under the twilight years of the Krause era. You hit on all the major misses, but along with Fizer, the 2000 draft class for the Bulls was really classic.

4th pick: Marcus Fizer
7th pick: Chris Mihm
24th pick: Dalibor Bagaric
32nd pick: AJ Guyton
33rd pick: Jake Voskuhl
34th pick: Khalid El Amin

What a group. I got a basketball signed by the entire 2000-2001 team for my birthday back in 2001. What a treasure it is.
