Obviously this season was going to be a wash, so maybe it does make sense in letting go of the Bench Mob, so they can get the best lottery pick possible. The thing that bothers me though, is the fact that they will still make the playoffs so they let go of Brewer and Korver for nothing, kept RIP (should be amnestied) and now Mayo is off the table. Honestly, WTF were the Bulls waiting for; why didn’t they offer Mayo everything they could throw at him? Imagine that, Rose/Mayo/Deng/Boozer/Noah; now stop since it’ll never happen.

If they let Asik go, they can get Hamed Haddadi (http://espn.go.com/nba/player/_/id/3478/hamed-haddadi) Who is basically the same player,(great shot-blocker, foul-prone) but does have much better hands and is a better free throw shooter.
