The fact that you need at least 2 scorers and somebody coming off of the bench seems to be escaping the Bulls. Hinrich should be a solid backup. But the best just keep getting better. LA always seems to find a way of adding talent–luxury tax be damned. Same for Miami, Dallas and Boston. The Bulls front office just aren’t savvy in this area of the game.

If Hinrich can stay healthy and hold the fort down until Rose comes back, we’ll still be in the hunt for a high playoff seed.

Oh, Damn.

I loved Captian Kirk when he was here the first time. But whats the old saying; “you can never go home.” This may turn out to be like Bill Cartwright coaching the Bulls. I hope it doesn’t tarnish the legacy of a player that we all liked.

It would be niave of me to think that the Bulls would now keep him until retirement, but I fear that this means another Kirk Hinrich trade will be in our future. Will it feel better the second time?

I would rather the Bulls try out some new talent. This season is lost anyway.

I am for one glad to see one thing go right since D Rose went down but i am the biggest fan of D Rose and without him this team seems to be in big trouble yet I will say this Da bulls must seek someone other than Rose for the NBA has went star crazed and talent crazed and we must adapt to this new way fast major moves must be made and I mean must be made we don’t need drafts trade the bobcats pick and throw in three yrs of ours and player or two if that is what it takes but we must make a move open to suggestions but i hope you all realize this is not the same old NBA it has taken a new run and its time for us to get into the race or we will be left behind …WELCOME HOME Kirk but we still need more to be a true elite team

He’s what we needed, and he is going to do a lot better than his last few seasons because he will come back healthy and thrive in Thib’s system. He may not be “the answer” but he will provide 3 things:
1. Starting PG until Rose returns.
2. Backup SG when Rose returns.
3. Starting SG when Hamilton gets injured.
He is someone that should spend the rest of his career here. Welcome home Kirk!
