There are certain players that you HATE to play against, whether you are playing him in a pick up game or your favorite college/pro team is playing his team. If you are playing against him in a pick up game, you bitch and gripe about how he is slapping and holding. If your favorite team is playing him it always seems like there is an almost tussle that happens because this player did something to provoke it. Typically, this player is not one of the best or most talented players on the floor, but he gets floor time nonetheless. And typically, even though you hate playing against this type of player, you love playing with him. That player is Andres Nocioni. He wasn't afraid to do the little things, get his hands dirty, dive on the floor, get in the heads of the opponent, and play physical. He is tough as nails on the court. He is one of those players you hate to play against, but if you are Bulls fan, you have to love him. He went balls out every second he was on the floor, and that is the most important thing, and his time here was very much appreciated by Bulls fans because of his hustle. He said it best himself: "...I gave everything to this team. I played hard every day whether in practice or in games." Yes, I winced and yelled at my TV many times as a result of a few (or many) forced Noc shots, but I cheered a helluva lot more than booed when he was on the floor because he brought energy and passion. Noc embodies everything a true fan could ask for in a player. I will miss him, and I hope BullsNation will too.

LJ -- The cap situation always confuses me, but they want to dump Kirk for both imediate and long-term relief...since he's on the books for three more seasons after this one.

PT from Oaktown -- Dude, I also love Noc. He competes hard, he fouls guys, he gets under people's skin. He's also an energy guy and the team's defensive conscience. But...what can you do?

Victor -- I like Salmons too, especially on paper. But he gets a little pissy when he's not getting shots. That worries me.

Man, I know it is business, but I love Noce, he is my wife's favorite player, that guy plays hard and dirty every night. But I will not cry if we land Wade and Bosh next summer, I am sure she will forget all about him, maybe.

Enjoy this tribute

Long live the NOCE, one of the hardest dirtiest playing bulls in history!

Do the Bulls absolutely need to jettison Kirk to stay under the luxury tax? He certainly made any decision that way more painful by piling on 31 points against the Bucks and playing some harassing defense (which D Rose could learn a bit of). Good trade overall - Noce was falling out of the rotation and it looks like Sefolosha just can't get his groove. Bringing on Salmons likely means he's gone and if Salmons can keep his level of play up, losing Gordon's points this summer won't be a big deal.
