boppinbob- i guess ur not exactly “hating” but i feel like u at least undervalue him. i think joakim is much more important to this team than boozer. noah may not look as good on paper, but his heart and soul change the way everyone plays. without him, i think rose would have a hard time convincing the rest of the locker room to be as pumped as he is, which would lead to us not being the best team in the nba. boozer could be replaced by a lot of guys, and we would still be a really special team.

u think taj would be better than noah vs. the magic?! that’s not for a bit, giving noah plenty of time to heal. it’s not like the pacers are going to really challenge him with their front court… that’s just crazy talk, good sir!

@Noah’s FT Arc, who is hating, Noah’s ankle is still bothering him, that is obvious. Rest him and let it heal some more. He will be needed at full strength for the playoffs.

I find it fascinating that people (my friends included) are just saying “Stop Rose and you stop the Bulls. Thank you, come again” as if that’s the most obvious thing in the world. I’m pretty sure people were saying similar about the Cavs when LBJ was there. Not that I’m comparing Rose to LBJ, but Rose’s teammates are a LOT better than LBJ’s was in the Cavs.

At first it frustrated me, but actions speak louder than words and I’m looking forward to just smiling and pointing at the Bull’s success in the playoffs (unless they lose, then i’ll go hide in a corner somewhere).

Heard what he said what? He didn’t even freakin’ say anything. What, now it’s bulletin board material that Danny Granger (who?) said that if they can slow Derrick down they’ll have a better chance to win? Who would argue with that statement?

Yeah, it’s true folks. Boston and Miami *do* have more talent that the Bulls. No doubt about it. Boston has 4 if not 5 Hall of Fame guys on their team. Miami probably has at least 2. However, what makes this Bulls *team* better is that we have a system that works that everyone buys into. The sum is greater than the parts.

I see no reason to get riled up over Granger’s statement. And frankly, I’ve never believed in bulletin board material in a playoff game anyways. You’re in the freakin’ playoffs, battling for a championship. Do you really need something that someone else said to get you up for the game? I hope not. If the Bulls only get ready to gun for a sweep because of something that Granger said that didn’t even matter, then they’re sure as shit gonna lose their ass to Miami, or Boston, or Orlando. Not to even speak of LA.

@ bobpins love it loved the name since I made it cause it fits DoAll Deng to the t had to give him a great name cause he is the glue to this team he does all the things to win and D Rose himself said he has his vote for the MVP and Deng is so under rated by most but without him this team would be in trouble .
Y did Danny open his mouth would of been nice to see at least five games series now its a sweep maybe all blow outs one thing is for sure I know the Bulls players have heard what he said time to get er done .Go Bulls

My point was that this season Noah has not been the impact player that either Deng or Boozer have been. Boozer has been more effective when Noah was not in the line-up. Deng has filled the “Pippin role” that Bull4ever touts Noah for. Right this instant, with his bum ankle Noah would be behind Taj in my rotation. In fact I might sit Noah for the last 2 games to try to get him healthy for the playoffs. He has not been effective the last three games he has played.

I think we’ll see a different Noah in the playoffs….i doubt it’ll happen, but i’m hoping he sits out these last two meaningless games….i realize it’s important for Noah and Booz to get more game play together, but getting Noah healthy should be the top priority.

i’m also not too big on attaining the best regular season record.
