@ matt I agree our coach was out of line doing that , there is a reason most bench players do not make more than the starters, the starter start the game and finish it especially if the game is on the line no matter how good the bench was playing , you pay them the big bucks to get it done in crunch time our coach dropped the ball bigtime and then some in this game only he is to blame for our lose him and his ego ,well hope his ego does not cost us many more games in the near future, paxton did you tell him never to bench him again in the fourth like you were trying to coach up VDN hope so, he (Tibbs ) is also a first year coach not matter how many years of being a assistant coach its not the same when you become the head coach.......

I don't know if anyone has mentioned this because, frankly, I'm too lazy to read all the other comments, but what bothered me more than Thibs benching of Boozer was Thibs horrible use of time outs. Sure I would have liked to have seen the Boozeman in the game down the stretch, but they came back without him and had a chance to win. Why you would ever burn your final time out (and the second last time out, for that matter) with that much time left is beyond me. They weren't able to produce anything out of either of those time outs, and of course, it came back to bite them in the ass. With 5 seconds left it would have been nice to advance the ball to mid court and potentially get a quality look at the basket. Oh well, at least they didn't blow a bad one to the Sixers tonight....

Matt - All due respect, but I think there is a big difference between benching a 1st or 2nd year, mild-mannered player than sitting someone like Boozer for a whole quarter - especially in a quarter where they were searching for control (and ... with Noah out with injury).

@BoppinBob, You make a great point! It does not make sense for this team to be so bad at the line. Deng missed 2 in a row during crunch time not hanging him out to dry but it seems to be a reoccurring event with this team. I am a firm believer that through practice most players can improve at the line. It is a very basic part of the game but especially for this group I think more practice is called for at the free throw line.

Tibbs me myself am not his biggest supporter some can coach some can be a head coach, and Tibbs just gonna wait to see what he does with this greatest team since Mj and scottie , this is by far better team than VDN had to work with my guess is our new coach needs to show progress and if we don't go at least deep insecond round then he has , in my eyes under achieved his goal to improve our team with his coaching skills should he be fired then probally not but definatly put on notice, the thing with Boozer not sure if it was a good move for him alway whats with putting Rose in with less than 4 mins left that is not gonna cut it coach Rose is our best player and unless he is hurt needed a rest then he should have been back in the game horrible coaching moves yesterday i am not gonna ride boozer since he has come back been nothing under great with his play so if he had an off night oh well , then the coach benched him bad move tibbs bad move don't make guys who make more money than you too mad it might cost you more than you have to offer or want to pay all i am gonna say hope rose aint mad at you , casue if he is then you best pack cause he is not goning anywhere it will be you before him coach hands down.........WE lost to the NETS dammmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

The Bulls took a team for granted and got burned. Hopefully they will learn somethinhg from that experience. I didn't see the game, but it seems that both DRose and Booz had bad games and they were rested during the blow-out the night before. The "big" three (Rose, Boozer and Deng) missed most of the FT's that the Bulls missed. When I was in HS if I missed a FT in a game I had to shoot 50 a day for a week after practice. I ended up an 92% FT shooter, I not sayin', I just sayin'.

time to trade boozer and bring back vinny. just kidding. thibs knows what hes doing, he prepares the team, adapts to games, draws up plays , he does his part. its no secret bulls are playing uninspired defense, and he sending a message to his players that if your not doing your part on , you will get benched , simple as that.

i hope booz desnt take it to heart becuase i like booz, and i like thibs too, both have great basketball minds. also this sorry excuse about noah being out is nonsense, the bulls have more than enough to hold the fort down. BULLS BABY BULLS !
