I couldnt have been more proud to be a bulls fan last night. The Bulls winning in Boston, without Ben Gordon. Taj Gibson played an excellent game on defense. The Bulls should have pulled away by more in the 3rd quarter I thought, and so did Doug Collins. And I am so happy to hear TNT actually praising the Bulls instead of focusing on the NY and LA teams all the time.

Hooray! THe game was on TNT last night and I got to see another great win by the Bulls. Beyond the obvious, here are some random thoughts:

1. Nice to hear at least some remarks by the national announcers about what a great city Chicago is to play in. ...and how supportive the fans are of the team. Sometimes I feel as though Chicago is marginalized by the NBA wanting winners in New York and LA. But Chicago has got to be one of the best francise success stories in the league.

2. Zack Lowe seems to know his stuff. Most people do not notice some of the intangibles that a cagey (sp?)vet like BM brings to the table (even though his legs stopped working a few years ago.) ..Also I LOVE what Noah has learned from Miller. The Bulls need to make him a coach when he is done.

3. If the Bulls had signed Glen Davis away from Boston this year, would Tyrus be a different player?

4. When do all the calls that Boston gets against the Bulls become ridiculous?

Hah brandon, I wouldn't do it. Deng has been shooting well the past few games but when he first had his injury he was pretty horrible. His improved shooting might have something to do with the injury healing or him getting accustomed to it.

Rose had some beautiful drives and I love every time he makes that thug Rondo look like a slow fool. And yeah, they were injured last night but the Bulls team up until 10 games ago would lose these sorts of games on the road that they should win. Last night was big because they beat Boston on the road. Now they need to beat the Wizards tonight at home because they should.

Can we petition the Bulls training staff to habitually break Dengs thumb for the duration of his tenure in Chicago?
