Part of this was because Sloan liked to have Brewer/Matthews in the 1st/3rd and Korver in 2nd/4th, and partially it is because Korver is money from the free throw line and his 3-point shooting is .

I couldn’t find any stats to back this up, but I’d bet you at least 33% of his minutes were 4th quarter for the Jazz last year. And I wouldn’t be surprised if he ends up doing the same thing for the Bulls with their poor choice of shooting wings. The choice is between Brewer and Korver at the 2, and Korver can make a shot from farther than 3 feet from the basket. He may be a defensive liability, but Noah and Deng can probably make him look better than Okur and CJ Miles did.

Sometimes starting due to injuries but mostly coming off the bench. I see him getting about 25 minutes a night backing up Brewer and Deng.
He gives the Bulls exactly what we need: an outside threat that will hopefully open the floor for Rose.

anyway, hope he’s a bigger version of Steve Kerr.

He needs to be exactly what he is… a spot-up 3-point shooter on a team which has none, to help punish the opposing team’s defense when it tries to sag on Boozer/Rose.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m happy to have him on the Bulls. Still, it’s a creepy video.

Only if the Bulls didn’t over pay him he could be the back up PG for Rose next season.

Why? We need our Steve Kerr/BJ Armstrong to hit the open 3 and either swing games or put a dagger in the other team. We got him. Anything else he can do is gravy.
